Create and Edit Your Indeemo Project

Indeemo offers two project types: In-the-Moment and Video Import Only.

In-the-Moment: This is a traditional Indeemo project where respondents complete tasks using the Indeemo app. With the Video Import option enabled, you can also import interviews (e.g., IDIs) directly into a respondent’s profile to analyze them alongside their in-the-moment app uploads.

Video Import Only: This type of project serves as a repository for your interviews and videos, providing a space for transcription and analysis. In this case, respondents do not use the Indeemo app.

Create Your Project

  • Navigate to the Manage Projects screen.
  • Click the + New Project button.
  • Choose In-The-Moment Project or Video Import Only

Task Lists (In the Moment projects only)

A Task List organizes the activities for your respondents.

You can create a new task list or clone an existing one.

  1. Add a Task List: Click the + button next to "Task Lists".
  2. Name: Give your task list a clear name that corresponds to the connected target Groups, especially if you have multiple.
  3. Task List Type: Choose one of the task release types (All at Once, Scheduled, Sequential, or Sequential + "No sooner than").
    1. This cannot be changed once participants are added or the project is live. Understand more about Choosing a Task List Type.
  4. Connect Target Groups: Select the Target Group(s) that will see this task list.
  5. Build your Task List: Add your introduction, tasks, and completion message. Learn more here

Clone an Existing Task List

Cloning a task list duplicates an entire task list from the current or a previous project, which is useful for creating variations.

  1. Create a Target Group: Ensure you have a target group ready to be assigned to the new cloned task list.
  2. Clone: When adding a new task list, choose the Clone an existing Task List option.
  3. Select & Save: Choose the project and task list you want to clone from, then select the new Target Group(s) that will be connected to this cloned task list.
  4. Review the full task list - pay particular attention to Required Responses and Start dates.
