Your Complete Guide to the Indeemo Platform

The Indeemo Platform at a Glance

The Indeemo platform is built around a few core components that work together to support your entire research journey.

Projects

This is where you organize your entire study. There are two main types:

  • In-the-Moment Projects: These are for research with participants using the Indeemo app.
  • Video Import Only Projects: These serve as a repository for importing and analyzing your pre-recorded video or audio interviews and focus groups.

For detailed steps, see how to plan and create you project.

Recruitment

We offer 2 options for onboarding participants to your project:

  • Indeemo's Panel
  • Bring your own participants
You can invite them to your project with one of the 2 methods.
  • Email Invitations: Perfect for inviting your own list of known participants.
  • URL and QR Code: Great for recruiting in a specific context (e.g., social media or a physical location).
For detailed steps, see the Recruit section of the help centre .

The Dashboard

This is your central workspace. It's where you manage projects, track participant activity, and analyze data using powerful features like automated video transcription, keyword analysis, and Generative AI.

For detailed steps, see the Run and Analyse section of the help centre .

Team and Permissions

You can collaborate with your team by assigning roles to control who can access and manage your project data.

The Research Journey on Indeemo: A Simple Flow

The research journey on Indeemo follows a clear, logical path. Here's how our tools support you at each stage.

1. Plan Your Project

Before you start, you'll plan your project by defining your Target Groups (your audience segments) and designing your Task Lists (the set of instructions and questions for your participants).

You'll decide how tasks are released - either All at Once, on a Schedule, or Sequentially - depending on your research needs.

For detailed steps, see Plan Your Indeemo Project: A Simple Guide.

2. Create and Configure Your Project

This is where you build your project in the dashboard. You'll set up your project details, configure your target groups, and build your task lists. You can also clone an existing task list to save time, or enable features like Mobile Screen Recording and Video Import.

For detailed steps, see Create and Edit Your Indeemo Project.

3. Manage Your Team and Project Permissions

Indeemo lets you manage your team with four distinct roles:

  • Project Owner: The project creator with full control.

  • Moderator: Collaborators who can edit the project, manage participants and interact with respondent data.

  • Recruiter: Responsible for inviting and managing participants.

  • Observer: Read-only access for clients and stakeholders.
