Edit, Render, and Share Your Reel
This article explains how to finalize your reel by rendering the video, editing the transcript/subtitles, and sharing or downloading the final file.
Important Flow: For your edits to be saved correctly, you must follow this specific order:
-
Finalize clips and slides.
-
Render the reel.
-
Edit transcripts and translations.
-
Download or Share.
Warning: Do not edit transcripts or translations while in "Draft" mode. Your edits will only be saved and "burned in" after the final rendering process.
Step 1: Render Your Reel
Once you have finished drafting the order of your clips and slides in the editor, you must render the file.
-
Click Render. This processes the video and transitions into a single file.
-
Wait for the rendering process to complete.
Step 2: Finalize Transcripts and Subtitles
After the reel is rendered, you can make your final text adjustments. This is the only point at which transcript edits are preserved for the final output.
-
Navigate to the Reels view and select My Reels.
-
Find the reel you want to finalize and click the Play button on the Reel.
-
This opens the reel view where you will see the Transcript and Translation tabs.
-
Make your edits: Click on the Transcript or Translations tabs, click edit and correct the transcript or adjust the translations.
Warning: Do not click "Re-render" after making these text edits. Re-rendering will wipe your edits to translations and transcripts, requiring you to start your text edits again.
Step 3: Download and Share
Once your text edits are complete, your reel is ready for your audience.
-
Download: Click the Download icon to save the final .mp4 file to your device.
-
Share: Click Share to make the rendered reel (including your edited subtitles and transcripts) visible to Observers linked to the project.
